Jennifer Lawrence brightened spirits on Friday when she visited patients at Shriners Hospital for Children in Montreal.
The actress, who’s in the city filming the next installment of the “X-Men” franchise, took some time out of her schedule to meet with the kids, take pictures and chat with staff members.
The hospital shared some photos from her visit on its Facebook page, writing, “A very special visitor stopped by our Canada hospital today. Jennifer Lawrence is in Montreal filming a new movie and she made time to visit some of our #ShrinersCanada kids and staff. Everyone had a great time!”
“The Hunger Games” star has made a few hospital visits in the past — for the past two years, she’s stopped by Kosair Children’s Hospital in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, around Christmas to bring a little holiday cheer to the young patients.
Other celebs, including the cast of the upcoming “Ghostbusters” reboot (Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Melissa McCarthy and Leslie Jones), Chris Pratt and Chris Evans have also taken time away from filming to visit hospitalized children, restoring our faith in Hollywood and humanity.
